Meet the Midwest Comfort team

Brian grew up in the Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines and graduated from Hoover High School. He has nearly three decades of experience in all things heating and cooling. Brian has seen and done it all while working throughout the metro for different HVAC service providers and decided to begin Midwest Comfort in 2007. From a one-man shop out of Brian's garage at home, Midwest Comfort has grown to a full service and installation team that has served thousands of customers across the Des Moines area for over 15 years. Brian's vision for Midwest Comfort has never wavered: doing right by his customers and demanding excellence from himself and every member of the staff.

Jordan was raised in the Windsor Heights and Beaverdale neighborhoods and currently resides in Des Moines. He is a second-generation operator at Midwest Comfort and oversees many aspects of the company on a day-to-day basis. Jordan attended Roosevelt High School, graduated from Upper Iowa University in 2021, and began his work for Midwest Comfort in 2020. He has an undeniable sense for customer satisfaction and team culture at Midwest Comfort.

Noah keeps everything moving behind the scenes — dispatching techs, coordinating parts orders, and making sure every customer call gets answered.

There's only one Mick! Mick is a life-long Des Moines resident and has been with Midwest Comfort since 2016. Mick has truly a lifetime of experience in mechanics and HVAC. Many people who know Mick would guess that he's never had a bad day — he has flawless attendance, always has a positive attitude, and gives every single task the same amount of effort and fortitude that it requires. Mick is always the pro that gets named in customer reviews and feedback for being honest, thorough, and a great conversation starter.

Caden is an energetic technician who brings hands-on experience in both residential HVAC and commercial refrigeration, along with multiple industry certifications that reflect his commitment to the trade. Caden is always eager to expand his knowledge of heating and cooling systems so he can provide the best possible service to our customers.

Eli joined our team at the end of 2024 while seeking a change in scenery in the HVAC industry. Eli keeps things light and brings a new-school approach to many solutions our service staff sees every day. Eli has a fantastic willingness to continue to learn and master HVAC. He is always friendly and respectful with our customers and leads by example on how to treat anyone you may come across.

Berton has two decades of HVAC experience. Before entering the heating and cooling industry, he built a strong background in related trades that adds to his well-rounded expertise in the field. Berton is the kind of person who can strike up a conversation with anyone, making customers feel comfortable and valued from the moment he arrives.

Jordan joined our team in 2022 with no HVAC experience. Working alongside our install team for years, he has gained the skills and knowledge to lead our install crew on daily HVAC system replacements. While Jordan's drive for excellence during his workdays is always evident, he has a laid-back demeanor and is always willing to work to keep our customers comfortable inside their homes.

Caleb is on the install crew, helping the team turn quotes into finished systems that neighbors trust for the next 15+ years.
